My name is Ryan Schmucker, and I am the owner of Schmuckers' Inc. We are new to the mold industry professionally, but not new to dealing with mold in the slightest. What actually led me down this path is having to clean up after a company and protect one of my clients from an ill advised and mal-practicing mold inspector/remediator company, charging far too much, and not fully completing there job. I wanted to help be part of the change in the mold industry in Ontario, to help standardize mold inspection/remediation practices so something like this would happen far less. The way I see it, is with something that could be so harmful to peoples health and safety. Us as inspectors and remediators hold the trust of our clients in our hands. And that we, as professionals, are doing are utmost due-diligence to give a thorough inspection, accurate sampling, detailed remediation, with testing to back it up. all done while held to a standard of practice. So I went and got myself certified under a nationally recognized Institute and became members of the National Association of Mold Remediators and Inspectors to standardize our practices and make sure were giving the best possible service to our customers.
